## Account and plans

**Is OneBooks free?** Yes for customers of LithosPOS and OneBooks partner applications — the full product. Everyone else pays a flat monthly Starter price after a 14-day trial. See [Billing and plans](https://docs.getonebooks.com/settings/billing/).

**Do I need a credit card to start?** No. Both the Free plan and the Starter trial start without one.

**Can I have more than one business?** Each sign-up creates one business. For a second business, sign up again with another email or ask support.

## Data

**Can I export my data?** Always: customers, suppliers, items and transactions to Excel or CSV, and every report to PDF or Excel. See [Import and export](https://docs.getonebooks.com/data/import-export/).

**Can I change my country later?** Only until the first transaction; after that, through a support request. See [Choose your country](https://docs.getonebooks.com/getting-started/choose-country/).

**Does OneBooks track stock?** No. Inventory fields are for reference only. See [Inventory fields](https://docs.getonebooks.com/items/inventory-fields/).

**Can I work in more than one currency?** No — one business currency per business, with the right number of decimals for it.

## Accounting

**Why can't I edit a sent invoice?** Its posting is final. Void it and issue a new one, or issue a credit note. See [Corrections](https://docs.getonebooks.com/accounting/corrections/).

**Why is my profit different from my bank balance?** Profit is accrual-based (invoices and purchases count when issued); cash follows payments. Compare the [profit and loss](https://docs.getonebooks.com/reports/profit-loss/) with the [cash flow](https://docs.getonebooks.com/reports/cash-flow/).

**What happens at year end?** Lock the year, review the closing preview, close. See [Fiscal years, locking and closing](https://docs.getonebooks.com/accounting/fiscal-years/).

## Tax and compliance

**Is OneBooks ZATCA-compliant?** Yes: Phase 2 e-invoicing with device onboarding, signed UBL invoices, QR codes and clearance or reporting. See [Saudi Arabia](https://docs.getonebooks.com/tax/saudi-arabia/).

**Does it prepare Indian GST returns?** Yes: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B with readiness checks, exported as JSON or Excel. See [India](https://docs.getonebooks.com/tax/india/).

**How do I record a zero-rated sale?** Add a 0% tax rate and use it on the line, so the sale still appears on the tax report.

## AI

**Can the AI change my books?** It can only propose documents; a person confirms each one. It has no delete, void or edit capability. See [Safety, privacy and limits](https://docs.getonebooks.com/ai/safety/).

**Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT?** Yes, over MCP with OAuth sign-in. See [Connect Claude or ChatGPT](https://docs.getonebooks.com/ai/mcp/).

## Team

**Can my accountant have access?** Yes — add them as an **Admin** (or **Member** with extra permissions). See [Users, roles and permissions](https://docs.getonebooks.com/settings/users-roles/).

**Can someone have read-only access?** Yes — the **Viewer** role.
