The Tally migration moves a business from Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime. It talks to Tally’s XML server through the OneBooks Tally Connector, shows everything in the import wizard, and posts history at the original dates. The Tally app is enabled per business by support — contact support (see Get support) and it appears under Apps as Tally ERP 9.
Prepare Tally
Section titled “Prepare Tally”Enable ODBC/XML Server in Tally’s configuration (F1 → Configuration; default port 9000). Tally’s gateway has no authentication, so only expose it over a VPN or an IP-restricted connection you control — never the open internet.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Open Apps → Tally ERP 9 and select New Tally Connection.
- Enter a label, the host and port of the Tally server, and the company name as it appears in Tally.
- Select Test Connection; it must report Reachable.
Sync, in this order

Each sync opens the import wizard with a preview and validation; nothing is written until you commit, and a failed commit rolls back completely. Last synced shows on the connection.
After migrating
